I disagree with what the DJ did but not what it stood for.
Christmas, as we know it, has turned into crap.
It took me to become a Muslim years ago to realize it (I am now Christian).

Christmas is supposed to be about Christ.
I live in the US where there is supposed to be a separation of church and state yet Christmas is a religious holiday AND a US holiday.
Parent lie to their children about a character named Santa (or St. Nick) on a day supposedly for Christ <_< .
Christ was not born on Dec. 25. He was born in the spring or summer.
Christmas was placed on that day to overshadow a pagan day.
Halloween was also a pagan day but made out to be a fun day to overshadow it&#39;s evilness as well.
Christmas is now a commercial day relied on for huge profits. The good nature of Christmas has taken a back seat to marketing gifts.
To be sure, Christmas is about 80% commercial and 20% good nature/religious.

I remember waking up in the morning being happy about my gifts and seeing the "From: Santa" label on them. I wondered how and when he got into the house when I dozed off for probably just 1 hour in anticipation of opening presents. There was never a mention of Christ though <_< .

It was a fun and clever ruse perpetrated by my parents and yes I enjoyed it but....
it is something that I don&#39;t wish my kids to have (whenever I have them).

However, I will almost be forced to due to:
marketing
other kids at school
my damn future wife :lol:

But hell, Jews, Muslims, Jehovah&#39;s Witnesses don&#39;t.
Maybe I will celebrate it differently.
Buy 1 gift for my child and tell about the teachings of Christ and his good nature.
