i meant the answer has been calculated to be the same each time. look at 36. it will always be one of a few possible answers. 1 and 36 are always the same design.

the number you come up with is always a multiple of nine, and the symbols change each time but still form a pattern, in 9's, so whatever symbol is next to #9 at the start will be the one displayed at the end
