It would be ridiculous for a trade association in the USA to sue people in Europe, whilst there were millions of people doing the same thing in the USA.

question to all: if you did get caught and had to pay a fine, would you do it buy selling the stuff you downloaded? :)

No then they'd slap you with a new lawsuit, and you'd have to start downloading new stuff to sell, in order to pay off the new one and then they'd slap you with a new lawsuit, and you'd have to start downloading new stuff to sell, in order to pay off the new one and they'd slap you with a new lawsuit, and you'd have to start downloading new stuff to sell, in order to pay off the new one and they'd slap you with a new lawsuit, and you'd have to start downloading new stuff to sell, in order to pay off the new one and they'd slap you with a new lawsuit, and you'd have to start downloading new stuff to sell, in order to pay off the new one... :D

That would be a criminal offence.

To try to solve a civil problem by criminality would be a preposterous thing to do.

You could end up serving time in prison in order to satisfy an unenforceable debt. Why would you want to do that.

My head always gets a bit tight when with apple - hat or not.

Which is why I wear mine at a jaunty, foppish angle.

If only you knew Callum. That Avator is almost a photo of myself. So I am more a 'Snny type' winter hat or the upside down flowerpot type for the rain. When I go out in the rain I look like the Late Harry Secombe used to look like, only a lot taller.

You miss my point - a civil action does not accuse the respondent of criminality.

I posed the question, would you risk being charged with criminality, in order to satisfy a civil debt.

However your point is, in and of itself, interesting. Thanks for posing it.

It may be worthy of it's own thread, you may wish to consider that.

Try not to make other people worry about things which you don't understand.
