Let's keep identities as they are....optional. When one wants to pronounce his gender it's his or her prerogitive and accepts the consequences.

IP address? would serve no useful purpose except to investigating units of the FBI, RIAA or MPAA :fear2:

That will sort itself out soon - Lounge posts now count towards your stars.

Sounds like "star wars" will ensue. We have really upped the ante now.

So posts will continue to count in a hidden fashion and stars will be added appropriately. Doesn&#39;t take an idiot long to figure that out and spam for stars and not post count.

Why not just give all spammers 5 stars so they can stop messing up the board.

Speaking as a representative of the idiot community, the chap has a point.

That problem will never go away. But it will be lessened a little with these measures - now there are no obvious numbers to aim for, and people can get their stars in the Lounge where they don&#39;t need to spam as much - it&#39;s easier to take part in the Lounge thatn other areas.
