how come the picture is lagging when I use Fullscreen mode when watching a downloaded movie? and when i go back to use normal screen the pic and sound becomes synkronised again?

don't use the kazaa theatre player

I't dosen't matter what player I use, same with BSplayer

avi files with the newer codecs do require a powerful sytem specs.
but you have problem with mpeg files too.try using older versions of windows media player that should help.win 98 os will be better suitd for your system as higher os do require more system resources.
try usind video lan player that might help. :unsure:

Have u installed teh k-lite codec pack? I found that some codecs included in the package make video stuuter (usually mpeg1 wmv, wma) so i resorted to the microsoft official codecs for these file types and all was fine.

Try get the official codecs for the filetype you are trying to play.

The Kazaa Theater is a piece of crap ,just use other players ,VideoLan ,BSplayer.

I always recommend using Videolan or BS Player, Media Player worries me as it sends request for codecs based on what you are watching and I'm not comfortable with that sort of information going to someone else.
