if im going to be in a que for quite a while and the estimated time it will finish is when im going to be out is there an option to make the download start automatically without clicking the ok button.

and if so are there any dangers in doing this?

Goto options mate,dcc,tick the option "auto get file".

the risks are anybody could send you anything.
