I noticed the same thing a long time ago but never bothered to bring it up.

I'm also in PST -8 GMT(Oregon) however I have to set the Board setting for the Alaska time which is -9 GMT.

So, there is something quirky going on in KL. You can set yours for Alaska and see if that fixes the time. Maybe someone will see this and discover how to make the correction in KL.

NOTE: I have Daylight Savings Time> UNCHECKED! (not in effect) so, it's nothing to do with that.

Well, uNz[i]'s links shows this is not a new topic.

Guess the simple solution for anyone is to just adjust your setting for -1 hour GMT less than what you normally would to be in sync with the time in your particular zone.

But, also raises the question...what do folks in Alaska do if they are experiencing the same condition? :o

True, but there was a statement/explanation made, just i can't find the link.
Think it was a database error on the server or summat.

The board clock is not, I repeat NOT 1 hour faster, the rest of the world is in fact 1 hour slower...

P.S. It's still quite nice here in the Azores... <_<

So the server that hosts this board is in Berlin?

I just set it to GMT = 1, and then it's correct.

ok so let me undertand:

Berlin:
Standard time zone: UTC/GMT +1 hour
No daylight saving time at the moment
Time zone abbreviation: CET - Central European Time

Vancouver:
Standard time zone: UTC/GMT -8 hours
No daylight saving time at the moment
Time zone abbreviation: PST - Pacific Standard Time

At the time of this post it's 6:19 PST local time

so the board time should be... 9 hours faster so 15:19 Dec 15?
