Because those sites take time to list them, if you search the channel before the files are listed on the sites you have a far better chance of getting a slot and not having to wait as much in queues. :D

Well, I have to agree with Moga. IRCSpy is easy to use, and very helpful for finding files. However, it only lists XDCC bots, there are lots and lots of 'old school' fserves out there... I've got Ops in three great channels on phazenet.. try here for 0day/scene mp3s...

im afraid i don't know any channels other than the ones listed in ircspy, but i do however know of a great way to find some:

it lists many chans by popularity, so the top ones should be pretty good...

also, regarding keys, you might get lucky if you googled the chan's name

for example, the xdcc chan just_for_shiz gave... let's just say that you don't have to guess it

you might want to try dogpile.com, google groups search, xgoogle search etc, who knows

Mogadishu should be allowed to express his opinions - it's not as if he said that someone should die!! I agree the occupation should be ended.

If you had a sig saying you wish all of certain people died (eg Palestinian), then that would be racist and threatening, and therefore it wouldn't be allowed on the board because it's against the rules.

But Mogidishu hasn't said anything that's against the rules.

Well, for the sake of argument, there are TONS of IRC servers out there, and only a handful are on IRCSpy/packetnews/mydownloader.com/etc......the IRC server/channel that I posted earlier in this thread is NOT registered with IRCSpy or any other search engine/spider. That doesn't make it better or worse, I'm just illustrating that their are advantages to adding to this thread. :01:

anyway, i think this thread is good because we can share information on which channel is best on what, dedicated speeds and etc. if these networks have the best, we dun need to look elsewhere, we just go to them (and we can call them our favorites ;))

but then again, ircspy.com and others are still very essential if u wanna find more resources. keep it on!!! :D

I think the bot i was downloading from could have easly gone over it had 20 slots open and only 5 were in use... :o :D

Those channels I list generally have tons of bots on-line but also... with a ton of people there are some queues for the more popular files. #cdwarez usually has over 3200+ people in at any given moment but at least 100 of those are bots with 20 to 25 slots each... if by some chance you get in a queue it wont last too long. At least that's been my experiences.

say you search for cum guzzling sluts (:P), the bots there will tell you the files and the channel where its at, most channela i get ar #xdcc #warezx and i think another is #mv-xdcc

oh and can someone tell me what 1337 warez are? dont go inyo the def of leet, i know what it is, but does it mean you can use a bottler script/client on them?

maybe i need to read the front page again :lol:

3223 if you search it will go you the trigger you to request that file, or at least it'll give you the bot name and the packetnumber.

Then just go to the channel where the file is and type
/msg [BOT] xdcc send #[NUMBER]

sometimes you have to use special triggers but then they say it.

It was bumped in an attempt to get up to date information about the leet irc channels.

Last I used irc was in may 2005 to download a cam version of the remake to house of wax.

The first post brings back some good memories. I remember #warezx and #wx of rizon. When unreal tournament 2004 came out, we made a chan dediicated to it and played ut 2004 on a cracked server someone hosted.

looking at the status window, does it say extension banned or something similar? if so you'd need to adjust that setting in preferences. that's the only thing that comes to mind.
