Have I Got K-lite Or Kazaa

K after having search problems with k-lite 2.4.3 I was told to update, so I downloaded kazaa lite 2.6 from someone on this board (it was in the sig). After installing ive got a logo saying KMD Lite, but when I load it just says Kazaa Media Desktop, no lite involved in the title! And to make it more confusing it when I click "about kazaa" in the help menu it says its created by Sharman. Dont know if I have kazaa or lite here guys help me!!...........please

I think i'm gonna cry :'( When I got rid of Kazaa I dont know how but somehow ive deleted all 375 files I had! :cry1: That's dvd movies, music, software gone! Is there anyway to get this back, I dont think there is but there's no harm in asking.

do you have xp? cause xp can restore deleated files some how. did u deleate ur shared folder?

when you uninstall KMD it automatically deletes your shared folder

i think those files are permanently deleted feel sorry for you man

yes I do have xp thanx to kazaa lite, When I deleted kazaa it took the shared file with it.

well somewere in xp, theres a thing were u can undeleate stuff. have a look around in system tools. i know its there.

Yep found the restore setting, cheers for ya help.

EDIT: Worked like a charm, now I can update my KL with my shared files :)

You have Kazaa.exe with random nut's Klr.exe

I suggest you stick with K-Lite K++ 2.43, these new versions being offered are test versions of a clean KMD.
I wouldn't advise anyone to expect wonders with test versions :D
