However all of you do/don't observe what many of us do in the next 10 days or so, whatever religious affiliation you do/don't have/practice, please take some time to reflect on any blessings/family you may have.

Those of you who find yourselves lacking reasons to be thankful, some of us are thinking of you this season, and we hope you don't mind we do this.

Also-please be safe.

This season always seems to bring some sort of unnecessary tragedy. Let's not contribute to this-we can't afford to lose anybody.

My best to everybody here; I hope you all have a happy, thankful, and SAFE holiday season (or whatver you do/don't call it). :)

Argh... Possessive pronouns don't have apostrophes in them!

Sorry, been Christmas shopping today and it's incredible the number of shopkeepers who put up signs with inappropriately-places apostrophes in them - it really bugs me, I don't know why.

Merry Christmas/Yule/Eide/(insert winter festival here) everyone :)

Are you stalking me, correcting my grammar.

I've got one bloody group telling me to lighten up a bit and a Mod being picky about "Possesive pronouns" (though why the word possesive started with a capital letter is beyond me).

Right

In addition to the "Possesive ...." being questionable as it does not start the sentence.

"Sorry, been Christmas shopping today ... " really, how does that work then, is it equivelant to "Sorry, I have been ..." or even "Sorry, I've been ...."

"inappropriately-places apostrophes in them ...." or placed even.

Listen mate, don't correct the esoteric when you can't accomplish the simple.

Typos and colloquialisms. However there is no excuse for apostrophe abuse.

Oh, and I think it was Ozbabe who made the mistake in the other thread.

There is a limited demand for the blood from small cat's anyway. So don't worry about it.

I give blood so regularly I have to get weekly transfusions just to top me up.
