My tastebuds haven't scrumped far beyond Strongbow, Old English, and Scrumpy Jack.

I think cider is a re-acquired taste. you love it when you're a sprog because beer tastes foul (not to mention its dirt cheap).

It does things to your innards, though. Heartburn is nasty.

I was a fan of the apple in my younger years, now I save it for special occasions, mixed within a pint glass with vodka, lager and a touch of lemonade.

Forget the lemonade then, it's the four shots of vodka and the half pint of lager that make the difference.

Now don't take offense to this Apple Cider commercial (Click here (http://www.jillsjokeline.com/dickens.shtml)), but I find it mighty humorous.

you are missing K cider, which was good old 7.5% in the local hotel and it was also £1 a bottle. needless to say in my youger teens i got pished on that frequently. also missing are the neds favourites - white lightning + thunderbird.
