How Long Is Klboard Gonna Last?

i know nothing is "forever" on the internet but i'd like to ask 7thelement how long r u gonna get it going?

give us a conservative estimate, how much does it cost to run such a board and is it sustainable?

I'd like to come back and visit years down the road.

I like to say that i am currently applying for a medical school and if i am in for the long ride (about 6 years or 7 years of training).

I'd like to come back and visit u guys cuz ur such a fine bunch and i really hate to see this group to disappear :(

The question is of debatable worth.

If JBR were to come back in 6 years and the whole feel and look of the board were entirely different. All the people were different and what was allowed was different. Would it actually be the same board.

Nothing lasts forever, everything is transient and evolving. It&#39;s really just a matter of enjoying things while they are available.

In all honesty I only use k++ occasionally. Have done for some time.

I prefer Soulseek for Music and BT for movies. I only use K++ for software now (it is still the best for that).

However I keep coming here (the only forum I use), cos&#39; I like the mix. It is the best administered and moderated forum I have found. Indeed it is the only one I really like.

IMO the board will be around for a long time.Darker and 7th seem to be doing a good job.

I honestly don&#39;t think it will be around for long and don&#39;t see the same people sticking around for years to come. I, for one will be leaving sometime into the new year and wont be making a big thing of it, not even a post to say so because it moves so fast and I cant expect to be able to say goodbye a year after joining and expect a farewell from people I don&#39;t know and who are different to when I first joined. I see forums a different way now, just drop in, ask a questions, answer some and go, time waits for no man. :)

So with college starting for me soon, I wont have time for forums anymore and I suppose the same applies for other people and some will simply get bored of seeing the same questions, talking bout the same things and hanging round the same group of people.

So will the board last forum last long?
Sure it will, could still be here in 10 years, but the people make the forum, the people will be different and so will the forum. So what should be asked is how many of us think we&#39;ll be here in 5 years say, rather then will the board still stand ...
