Pc Running Slow

ok... bleh now i having problems....its time for you guys to pay up and help me :D

ok.... im running shareaza (cough, resource hog...specially RAM), kazaa (this aint a charmer either lol), and browsing the forum with IE....

sometimes IE gets stuck and one instance of IEXPLORE.exe is taking like 100+ of RAM... and my computer is slooooooooooooooooooooooooow

dont wanna format cuz im lazy :frusty:

any ideas?

btw.... what was the edit in the registry to the pagefile that made windows boot faster? thx :)

how much RAM have you got? And IE take 100+ RAM :o

btw.... IE doesnt take 100+ ram on my computer. right now this window of IE is taking 25892 of mem usage..... whilst msn messenger is taking 30148 (wtf), k-lite is taking 30356, and shareaza is taking 58208

see my predicament? :D

yea but still.....i know this kinda fixes this...but i dont want to hehe..... my computer is idling (just downloading) for like a day and when i come back its EXTREMELY slow... w0ot :angry:

Read my lips : I have same problems with eMule and K-Lite. For movies , games..get rid of Shareaza , install Bittorent instead .For music get Blubster , install it , run Ad-aware , and you will see is still working and rocking after that. :D

yea i know im gettin rid of shareaza after i finish the 4 downloads i have (they are all in 98% or more...one is in 99.87 and never finishes) :angry:

good thing is that the verifieds rock..... but i guess all edonkey progs are resource hoggers - havent tried emule but whatever.... k-lite alone never gave me trouble, however getting a verified was a pain in the behind....

btw sh.... i dont download music anymore lol....no good music around <_<

anyway... i reboot already....everything running fine...a download just finished (cough.... a video), and 3 more to go.....hope i end before january 3rd.... :angry:
