None of the main mods seem to want to come here and talk about it, it seems like one big secret

ED2K links work perfectly well - see example
http://klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=88733
you just stick them in like this :)
Symantec.AntiVirus.Corporate.Edition.ClientOnly.8.1.1.ShareReactor.exe (ed2k://|file|Symantec.AntiVirus.Corporate.Edition.ClientOnly.8.1.1.ShareReactor.exe|34734672|EEB94D90D9A78CD289D537D69E89A6AA|/)
sorry - I should have chosen one with a shorter filename

OK, complete instructions how to post eD2K quicklinks (hash) so when someone clicks the link it goes directly into their download list.
the instructions are based on Emule, but I should imagine other eD2K clients work the same.
In emule, right click on the file you want to create a quicklink for
click on 'Copy eD2K Link To Clipboard (HTML)'
In the verifieds section where you are posting the link you do this
paste you link from clipboard here
