I was contacted by a mod because the members founded a horrybile picture posted by me on the development , the mod ( and i don't tell the name for his privacy ) told me to remove the pic because he can't , is not a global moderator .As most of you know i never posted bullshit n this board and i think someone hacked the post and changed my picture tag. Please control the post here (http://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?act=ST&f=47&t=89762&st=75&#entry771552) delete everithing and try to find what's really happenend. I post this here because i don't see any global moderator right now on the board.Thank you.

This is my original picture :

And then is turned in something horrybile.

as i told in team chat Shareholder. That the place where you linked your pic from, isn't saying rmote pics linking not allowed visit.....www.blablabla.com or something.
But decides to take these matters a bit more "ehm" ... well have no name for it.
(it was the remark on bandwith thief in the pic that made me think of that?!)

I think it could be a "Steal Bandwith Replacement Pic"

Your original pic was from other domain, in this case:
http://img13.photobucket.com

They probably dont like ppl linking to their pics,
there might be an automation to replace the pic to Nasty-Bandwith-Thief-pic
we saw earlier.

So, i dont think somebody hacked anything in this board.

Cheers:

Edit:

Im sooooo slow....
All the other ppl get to answer before me.

I've seen that image before from people who hotlink their files (although I didn't know the domain).

Ok I tested it now.

I uploaded an image at http://www.adriancomputers.com/otul/index.php

If you upload there and you link it from another site then this (bad) picture will show up !

Simply don't use http://www.adriancomputers.com/otul/index.php cause they will replace it !

I'll add this domain to our blocked word list to make sure that nobody else gets in troubles because of that ;)

when i click on the first link your provided 7th it doesn't say anything about no allowing hotlinking. maybe they have changed their rules recently?

it does say

Upload rules
Max file size: 3000KB
Image only: Yes
File name cannot contain the following characters: \ / : * ? < > | &
Allowed file types: .jpg .doc .txt .bmp .jpe .gif

I recommend My Imgs (http://www.myimgs.com/refer.php?id=104). I even purchased the 'Small Plan' and I haven't gone anywhere near the bandwith they've given me. Also, it's gone down once in like 6 months, in which case they emailed me twice to let me know what was going on.

Edit: If anyone is interested in this site to host images, could you let me know before you sign up (either by PM or email). They have a 'Refer your friends' thing going on where I can get 20% of something hehe

If you are concerned someone hacks into your account, change your password
to some new one. The best would be a random one.

If a Mod hacks into your account or someone with direct access to database, though I could not believe that, It would be more difficult.

I.N. aaaaarghhhh, why would we hack an account if we can edit all out or ask an admin to remove edit or whatever  :frusty:

problem was solved read back up it was just the host for the pics that spoiled the fun
