Hi everyone.

I just thought you would like to hear about this. :)

I just bought a new outdoor light fixture today.

Something like this: http://www.globe-electric.com/Brochure%20HTML/images/Globe-Web-Sales-Slice-Out_0.gif

I just showed it to a good friend of mine and asked if I should install it today. The reply was: "No, wait for a warm day... like when it gets to -20C".

(It's -35C right now and with a windchill even colder.)

 :fear2: :strongsad:  http://www.mcbriens.net/liam/img/smilies/nerves.gif

(That's colder than a snowbank!)

Shit, - 20 °C? Where the hell are you living? Here it isn't cold a the moment, but windy - up to 150km/h wind speed.

Ah, Canada, ok that is close to the pole.

Shit, and I thought I had it bad here (in the mornings lol)!

Here in California it's 60F in the morning, but in the afternoon it hits around 80F.

Your lucky though you get snow, it never snows here. :(

Or does it snow? I have no idea where you are. :P

The weather in California really annoys me. One day it's 90F, the next morning it's raining. One day it's freezing, the next day its a million degrees.

Right now the temps are around 80F, thats not what I call winter! :(

I want snow damnit! Someone send me some snow, I'll pay shipping. :D

My brother got back from Banff last week.

The day he left, the temp hit -40.
During the day.
And not counting the windchill factor.

Man, that's cold.

It's below zero here in Pennsylvania too. Since it snowed last night my wife had the great idea to take the kids out sledding. We lasted about 5 minutes. The wind was so cold it burned your face. :o
