well what i thought what would never happen has,i got busted for filesharing.my internet connection got cut off for 2 days because the MPAA told my isp that i was downloading and providing illegal movies.i only downloaded off bittorrent and never used kazaa lite for movies(too many fakes) so i guess i'm done.they told me that i also might get sued too(i hope not).i did'nt even get a warning they just shut off my internet and i don't have a choice to change isp's since i got a cable connection and i could never go back to dial-up.this really sucks big time and not sure what to do cause i love getting free movies.

the UK's policy is pretty unclear, but thankfully they don't seem very proactive (unlike their american counterparts)

the insecurities within the bittorent protocol are still evident though

Work it out dickhead.

People posting shite to frighten people always do it using text speak. They think it makes them blend in.

If you want to frighten people. Try something else.

Try telling them that it is fucking impossible to prove that people are sharing music and movies in Europe. That will frighten the shit out of them.

More or less as I thought...I use BT in the UK but even as a noob I know that this very useful tool is VERY open to outside scrutiny. Long live the inaction in this part of the world.

You can check the Users IP and with IP and exact time and date you can get the phone number - means:location - from the provider where the User got in the internet.

Best solution: share your files from phone cells! :P

If for no other reason this makes me dubious.

Even in America your ISP has to notify you of impending action.
I don't think I'm buying this at all.
