Problem When I Have Codec Pack Installed

i recently installed the kazaa lite codec pack and every movie clip i have now plays(good), but when i try and play a dvd in media player i get a error message saying "cannot play this due to an error with digital copyright protection" (bad) :angry:

so i uninstalled the codec pack and the dvd movie would play..... ant ideas why the codec pack makes my media player unable to play a dvd......thanks in advance. :rolleyes:

Which version of the codec pack did you install?

i downloaded the 2.20 full version. there must be somthing in that codec pack that makes media player unable to play dvds, also i tried nimo codec pack and the same thing happened. please help.....thanks.

Try the 2.24 test version (see codec development).

Media Player Classic should play DVDs.

I can now play dvds in media player classic...but not in media player 7..why is that. if i have no codec pack installed i can play dvds in media player 7. anyway thanks for your help. much apreciated m8. :)
