Windows Messenger

I am using MSN MESSENGER 6.1 but always windows messeger starts when ever i log onto the internet. Its bloody annoying is there any way to get rid of this without disturbing msn messenger. also taking into account there is no option on the windows messenger box to disable the auto start up.

yes there is an option.

Open messenger>Extra>Options>5th option from the left(next to privacy)>first box(untick it)
