i have a matshita DVD-ram sw9581 how do i find out if it burns dvd rw or dvd+r, can my computer tell me some where

i think you mean ROM, dvd-roms cant burn cds

try the nero info tool if you have that installed:

start>programs\all programs>nero>nero toolkit>nero infotool

once it loads you can choose which drive you want info about at the top of the program. to find what kinds of cds it can read\burn look in teh middle part, checkmarks mean that it can read\burn the type of cd that corresponds.
