Noob Xp Keygen Question

Hi, I'm apologising already fo this so don't go ape on me!

I read somewhere that Windows Xp doesn't like it when you change significant parts of your hardwear and asks you to put in your original XP disc to verify that it is still a legit person using its softwear and not some copy or whatever.

So if, hypotheticaly speaking, you were to use someone elses copy of Windows Xp Home and then use a keychanger to allow you to validate it (and get all the updates etc) and then at a later date changed loads of your hardwear (such as your moboard) wouldn't it just laugh and tell you to fuck off when you tried to use that original Windows XP disc or a back up of it, cos the key code is diffent????


I have read loads of posts and tutorials, but this wasn't explained in any I saw!

if you change 3 or more pieces of hardware windows xp will deactivate and you will have to contact MS to validate it again

just get a copy of XP pro corprate which doesn't have any of the activation stuff

I think XP-Antispy (http://www.xp-antispy.org/) can help if you can't get xp pro. I think setting the registration as always done might fix that problem, but there are a few options relating to WinXP activation. If I'm wrong, then, oops. Just get corporate.

xp antispy disables xp "phoning home" but it still needs to be activated first

Man, every copy out there of XP Pro corporate seems to be ropy in some way, or involves umpteen different fixes or patches.

Seems to me that microsoft has got most hackers/crackers licked. I can't believe I wasted so much time reading all those posts on the subject just for it to be a waste of time 'cos of microsofts 'hardwear change' security feature!

there are also cracks availiable to bypass the activation

you can get a good copy of pro corp from emule, got to sharereactor.com for a verified version

for the crack do a search for "windows xp crack" in your p2p app eg k-lite, emule however i would recommend getting xp corp with sp1 integrated as the cracks just reset the activation time back to 0 and remove the messages

Yeah, I see what you are saying, but it still seems like a fucking hassle when you might already have a real, uncorrupted copy of the home edition.

There must be another solid way around this!

by the way is XP corp different from XP pro?

if you get ti off of emule via sharereactor it should be ok as eMule has built in error correction. k-lite doesnt so if you get it off of there it will probably get corrupted

XP corp is the same as pro but withut the activation
xp pro on p2p will probably bo the corp version
xp corp is also known as xp pro (volume license edition)

also the XP 5 in 1 has xp corp on it so you may want to try that out

No not k-lite.

With MyDoom on fire right now, it's better not to look for cracks/keygens, etc., on k-lite. Google that if you want

There's a perfect iso of a windows xp academic edition (or student) both on emule and torrents, installed in universities for training purposes: it never becomes deactivated or require any ms genuine patches.

use this it permanently patches windows so you never need a serial. you can get all updates, IE 7 and the latest Windows media player. :w00t:
