you have to ask urself alot of questions first...

1.) is it worth it? do you really have 40gb worth of songs you REALLY listen to?

2.) are you clumpsy? do you drop shit all the time?

thats just to name a few

I believe it to be a good price. I ordered the 30GB model for £210, so you're getting an extra 10GB for £45 extra. The site i ordered mine from was the cheapest available at the time, so you have a good deal there.

However, there seemed to be a small fault with my model (line-in was faulty) and I was offered a replacement or my money back (I chose this). I'll be buying the 60GB model in a couple of months time as it should drop to £300.

Hope this helps,

Sure do ;)

Plus the 60GB model has a much bigger screen and blue LCD display rather than the 90's green. Check that site you've posted to see how much the 60GB model is. It will definately go down in price in 3-4 months time. How much do you need it? Mine was a Christmas gift but I can wait :01:

That site you posted is offering the 60GB model for £292.99!

I'd really consider buying this rather than the 40GB model. Depending on how much music you currently have, it might be a good investment.

Remember that it can also serve as data backup. My 40GB iPod is 85% full, even though I only have 5GB of music.

i own a nomad zen xtra 30gig and so far i only used up 10gigs :o
its cheaper than an ipod and has a replaceble battery
and if this breaks i wont bother as much because it didnt cost me a fortune like an ipod would. wish creative would make it a little slimmer, but i can't complain i love this baby :D
