[7thElement]

I coded a little smilie generator for the board.

To use it just click the link at the top. If you use a firewall to block popups it won't work because the generator opens in a new little window.

A Script idea is a not a unique one. Many people can have the same idea simultaneously and balamm it is really kiddish to think 7th would be checking your site everyday to see when you put something like this so he can copy.

Yeah, you always did think pretty highly of yourself. I doubt sharedholder found it any more usefull than anyone else did though.

Have you ever heard of exclusionism? Cause that&#39;s exactly what&#39;s being practiced here.

We all used to share but the site is focused on keeping it all hidden away and exclusive now.

Just grab what ever you see anyone else doing and "brand" it.

Don&#39;t give credit to anyone, just take it.

you people amaze me. is everyone in competition? what could you possibly gain? these are all just forums and websites. seems like nowadays everyone has one. if someone has a great one, then people will start to go there. but to hear ownership talk on a filesharing forum is a tad hypocritical. the point of this place is to share things, be it a website, a song, or even a little smilie generator. :)

@Balamm: yes you are right I visit your site every hour to see if there is an update to steal and include it here. I wait all day long until you finally release something new suuuuuure ;)

Ok now the truth:
I didn&#39;t even know that you have a site cause i thought that the smilie site is titey&#39;s site. I visited it once after he asked me to include xmas avatars and now I checked it a second time and see: "We will release a smilie generator soon" and I didn&#39;t find a smilie generator on your site yet but maybe I just didn&#39;t find it cause I don&#39;t have much time to browse sites I have work to do too.

If you are going to hate me because you think I stole your idea then you have to hate a lot of people cause there is a PHPBB mod since months to do the same. There are also a lot of open source scripts to include such functions. Dreamcodes, phpbb.com, hotscripts.com are just a few sources to grab such scripts.

Anyway if you think it&#39;s based on your (non existing) generator then it&#39;s fine with me but I am a coder and I don&#39;t need your site to inspire me.

What&#39;s the big deal ? This is just another bit of fun which is getting people upset. I can&#39;t see why. If 7th coded a bit of software that people can play with, then what is the complaint. Loads of people have things like a links page, does the person who did it first tell everyone they shouldn&#39;t and then complain about it. Does someone here claim to have invented the concept of a smillie generator ? If not, do they claim that 7th stole the code they wrote ? If not, I really don&#39;t see the problem.
