that will either run from or install from a floppy...(or a few floppies :P )
got this old ass tandy laptop i had up in a closet for years
get this...a Tandy 1100FD laptop
it has NO networking hardware at all...
only a serial and a parallel port
no optical drive, only a floppy drive
and its got one of those green contrast kinda screens
the bastard was made in like 88 or 89 i think
so i need a really basic OS i'm thinking....
(i'm thinking all i'll be able to run on it is win 3.x or 5.x)
i'm sure i can find some kinda use for it, just dont know what yet........

hey, cool, thnx B)
its worth a try, this laptop's a junker, so....
just experimenting with it B)
no luck...the links arent working, nor is 'right click save as...'
besides, i doubt that this laptop has 32bit technology  :P
does this mean i gotta learn more about dos?
If that doesn't work you could try some of these floppy sized linux distros (http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Software/Operating_Systems/Linux/Distributions/Tiny/Floppy_Sized/?il=1)
EDIT: Could always learn linux ^^ :D

Even though it's fairly old, I would imagine it would be like downloading any other copy of windows. Try a p2p network ;)
