yep

it was scripted to happen

the accadamy works on turns they didn't want to reward Peter Jackson's great efforts till the last of the trilogy

I agree that they deserved it.
But to be honest I'm dissapointed that they got the oscar for best song instead of "Les Triplettes".That song was like ten times better than the one of ROTK.

they could care less actually. they, along with John Geata, have expressed their hate for the academy by not showing up for the oscars in 1999. so im sure they dont really giver a shit.

the music in rotk was amazing though. like the scene with the beacons lighting up, and the song with faramir charging into the little town place byh the river, and he gets killed.

Guys plz stop abusing the matrix fans or the wac bros. U have no right to do so. I agree
LOTR is a very very good trilogy but that doesnt give u rights to abuse other fans. They are fans as much as u are. I m a Matrix as well as LOTR series fan. But then both the movies are totally different.

Well for those guys who still havent figured out qot the matrix was all about i encourage
that u plz go thru my thread The Matrix Explained (http://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=102177)

Cheers. Bye.

(P.s. Dont take it personally) :P

i actually didn't mind teh 1st matrix movie just that when i came on here a long long long time ago and said Sean Penn will win best actor at the Oscars the matrix fans said the movie Music River is boring as hell and Sean Penn sux.

Hey look if you like action then of course your not going to win Oscars academy loves Drama..... well ROTK broke that drought

I dont know what the maximum is for amount of oscars
but it sounds like LOTROTK took them all -sharing?

Does that mean that ALL the other movies are worthless?
Maybe the Godamnn JURY for the AWARDS should decide which movies get produced
and which dont -. Beforehand

Dont bother to reply to this statement cause i already know the answers - just needed to xpress trivial knowledge

Respect

Yeah, LOTR was the best picture with the best director and the best screenplay and the best music and the best editing - but none of the actors were any good? I still can't believe Ian Mckellen and Sean Astin weren't even nominated. <_<

they couldn't really determin a leading actor or actress or even a supporting role cuz they're all in groups. it could be either aragorn or frodo. and supporting roles will be a lot. gandalf, sam, theodin, etc. if they did have a nominated person, rotk would win. duh

thank god you didn't say Kano Reeves  (however you spell it)

I think year those 2 actors should have got a nomination but if you want to watch good acting watch Mystic River might be boring for the action heads though....
