Hey!

Here is where we post pictures of OUR computers, and list the specs. This is to let new members see what we have, and to let everyone see what everyone else is working with B)

If yours glows, please post one with the light on, and with it off.

Webcam and Digital Camera would be good. Although webcam isnt the greatest quality.

Heres a close up of the side. (pretty nice wiring job)

Heres the Front.

http://home.earthlink.net/~bigdawgfox2007/Side%20Light%20Off.jpg
And heres with the lights off.

P.S. No they are not UV. The webcam just kinda distorts the blue. It looks darker in real life.

u say here with the lights off but i can clearly see that the lights ARE ON lol. i want to see your mobo and stuff without teh damb blue in the way. btw, very nice wiring job, before i get a picture on here i want to get some round ide cables and some of that mesh stuff that goes on the psu cables, then mine will be even neater!

edit: oh wait sorry now i understand, you meant with the rooms lights off i thought u meant the leds and stuff. plus you put the captions above the picture, they're supposed to go below the picture.

C'mon, post it!

pc-gamer-dude
03-09-2004, 03:31 AM
you cant really read my specs the best in my sig so ill post them:
Asus A7N8X V2.0 motherboard
AMD Athlon XP2500+ @ XP3200+ (200x11)
Kingston Valueram PC2700 @ PC3200 (2.5-3-3-11)
ATI Radeon 9600 @ 9600 Pro

my current case is an Aspire X-Dreamer (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-144-002&catalog=7&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1) only mine is beige, and i have a 420watt psu in it.

ill post pics of my set-up soon in this post.
here is what i plan on getting for it soon:
6 blue led coolermaster 80mm fans
Zalman Copper Heatsink/ Fan (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-118-109&catalog=62&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1)
Western Digital 40gb 7200rpm hard drive (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?description=22-144-126)
and a Thermaltake Chipset Cooler (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?description=35-116-005)

and im hoping to get some mushkin pc4000 222 256mb sticks and run them in dual channel. hopefully ill have them within a couple of months and then ill be able to overclock more. my current ram maxes out at 210mhz but i run her at 200mhz just not to stress her to much.

umm i guess thats all about my rig for now. when i get some pics ill post for everyone. and hopefully ill have the new stuff soon (not including the memory... dont got any money for that).

how could a mobo for a 200mhz cpu have 32mb onboard graphics? even the top of the line graphics cards at the time of that cpu didnt have 32mb.

YOu can't get dual athlon 64 FXs, and an OC of that much would require a damn lot of cooling since their normal running speed is 2.2Ghz.

Why get a CD-RW in a super PC

Why 3 gigs? My SK8N (Athlon 64 FX-51) can hold 8GB. Why PC3200 too? A 1.6 gig bus needs better RAM! (if you got the money to spend).

The ASUS Athlon 64 FX/Opteron motherboards all have dual CPU support and only 5 PCI slots though.

Why 4x120GB? Why not 4 of those 150gig 10,000 RPM SCSI drives?
Or at least 4x250 gig.

I reckon a 9800XT or FX5950 would be better than that.

RGX
03-09-2004, 07:22 PM
Apparently the Wildcats are terrible for games, I would agree that 9800XT would be much better suited.

Also, the fastest memory you can afford. As Mad Cat says, ideally you want the memory running at the same speed as the frontside bus, so with a FSB that huge you need some mega fast memory.

this i did using my scanner, its a very bad picture and i plan to get much better ones here soon if i get my digital camera soon.

http://filesharingtalk.com/sigs/hhtyt.JPG
(its two scans put together so it looks really messed. and some stuff was cut out, the hard drive is at the bottom, power supply top left, and cdrw is top right above the dvdrom which u CAN see.

i also tried to get a picture of my fan speed controller which i made myself but the picture didnt come out. (its nothing glamorous anyway)

Heres the Front.

And heres with the lights off.

P.S. No they are not UV. The webcam just kinda distorts the blue. It looks darker in real life.
hey dawg, that must be the case you recommended to me. looks nice......cheiftec right? ill post a pic when mine dont look like a run down apple II gs from 1989.
but some of my specs are:

ASUS P4C800-E deluxe mobo
P4 3.0ghz HT intel thingy
512 DDR 400 Transcend (more on the way)
A monitor to see stuff with
a keyboard to type stuff with
Microsoft Intellimouse explorer to click stuff with
3 HDD's totaling 200gb
ATI Radeon 9500 pro 128
oh, and a really neat Vantec EZ-swap HDD cooler/swapping thingy
:D

......and my puter lights up real nice when all the lights in the room are on, otherwise all you see is a retarded LCD screen on the vantec thing.

:o OMG clocker, is anybody able to sleep in your house when your rig is on!!?
Sprocket has asked that I inform you that she is in no way noisy, obtrusive or otherwise not a perfect lady.
In operation, she purrs and, due the fact that she hovers several inches above her bench, no vibration at all is transmitted.

Just setting the record straight. ;)
:o Come on clocker that dont hover, That thing flys............

Sadly they're not all mp3s :(

I've got about 24000 mp3s, 330+ simpsons episodes, 70 or so futurama and about 15 gig of car stuff :)
