I just got my cable connection hooked up yesterday and let me tell you, Comcast ROCKS!
After suffering with AOL DSL ( HA!) for the past year, this is just amazing.
Literally ten times faster than what I'm used to.
I've checked my speed twice today and both times it was over 3300Kb/s.
With AOL, on a good day I was lucky to break 300Kb/s.

Too bad I don't hardly DL stuff anymore...sure could have used this last year.

On a side note....I am off on an extended business/pleasure trip this evening.
While I am gone I expect all of you to act responsibly and be nice to VB.
My opportunities to check into the forum will be somewhat limited, but I shall when possible, so don't think that any bad behavior will escape unpunished.

Ciao.

lucky, my rogers cable connection was 3000\384, but then my parents got cheap and went for high speed light and i now get 128\56 :(:(:(cant wait till i get a job though!

edit:i wanted to add that my actual download speed i was getting was usually around 2800 (my area is hightech and not many people have to share the bandwith in my area :)) 2900 at nights.

edit 2: i found the real upload speed available from rogers.

With leechget I've honestl seen stuff hover around 500k/s, I would post u/d specs but I don't know of a good site to test from.

I fileshare all the damn time and I've only got 512/256 :(

You guys are lucky, I'd be getting a new movie every few hours if I were you guys.

FFS!!!!!!!

I wish Comcast were here in the UK :(

The highest we have at the moment is 2MB and it's limited by where you live. I'm on 1MB and although I'm not complaining that it's slow, I'd certainly like a faster connection.

How much is Comcast for 3.5 MB D/L?

If your talking to me your retarded because leechget is a download accelerator not a filesharing program. :frusty:
