This lame group is seeding torrents that are PW protected, and to get the PW you have to log onto their Web site and register with a real email address (so they can sell it to all the porn scum spammers they do biz with).

Uhhhh, dosen't that sort of defeat the entire purpose of trading files as anon users? Guess they don't get that point in the good old UK, maybe sitting in the noon day sun too long.

While it's nothing to open up a throw-away addy, why bother with lamers like these.

They got to be such big AHs by buggering themselves no doubt.

Anyway, I have been cracking the ones I have and letting them re-seed so they open without a PW. If you see any of their torrents, kill 'em and help stop this stupid shit.

The rar file is not PW protected, but the iso inside of it is, I have had to crack the iso&#39;s by hand (the old fashioned way) as I don&#39;t think any of the password retrievers will brute force an iso, but I may be wrong, so correct me if I am.

Also, it is entirely possible that this is a sting site, and in reality, they are really "Her Majesty&#39;s Pirates of the UK".

Hey, they want publicity, let&#39;s give it to them so everybody knows they&#39;re lamers and/or feds, and to stay away from their torrent seeds.

Hmm, could be a monitored site. Even if you use a throw away email address your IP would still be in the Email header (unless you use a proxy). I wouldn&#39;t trust it. But hey, that&#39;s just me.

Hey, Kazaalite4ever, I just dowloaded this torrent, "Wu- Tang Clan - Wu Banga 2001 Volume Two.rar", and the file won&#39;t extract w/o a password.

Is this what you were talking about ? And do you, by any chance, have the PW for it ?

There was a web page inside the file, www.mctorrent.dk, which was also the pw.
Pbl fixed.

See, I just installed TorrentStorm yesterday, so there are still a lot of things I don&#39;t know.... But I love it so far.

I&#39;m a moderator at POTUK and you need updating. One of our members gave me the heads up about this thread.

We do NOT password protect torrent files any more - we did for a while but it pissed people off and it has been stopped. There are some torrents still out there that have the passworded rars but no more will ever appear, and there&#39;s a thread on the forum with the passwords in so there&#39;s no need to register to check em out.

Call in some time - you&#39;ll all be welcome - it&#39;s a good place

Who do some of you guys think you are?

We pay for the server with our own money most of the time so dont start screaming about months out of date info you got from someone else. Our members decided to password their files and all the codes are still in clear view for ppl to see even though 99% of the files are dead

I ve run a few forums with guys from here one person that springs to mind was Stoi, who&#39;s a great kid and onetime big member here. He used to password his files too so dont yell and cry when you see a password. Although its not done now, please remember that WE pay for the bandwidth and WE put the time in for FREE so that other people can share our files.

I can fully understand why ppl get pissed off with passwords and we have enforced a complete ban on them now, but i dont think that writing crap in a shoutbox or anything else like that is the way to get a point across. Also have you never come across passwords on Kazza, emule, etc, etc..We all have at some stage.

Anyway i just wanted to set things right and as phenomenoff has said, you are all welcome to share any of our password and virus free torrents
