Looks like a basic image to me.

The ability of the software matters, but the personal skill of the person that's using the software is required a lot more. :)

i'm totally new in 3d gfx and tried 3dsmax and some other stuff, but could nver figure it out. I'm looking for an easy prog to make renders like that ;)

I have always used 3d Max. Try doing their tutorials and within a few weeks/months you'll b a pro ;)

lol, the easier the program the less its ability to make great 3d

i suggest lightwav or 3d max, both have millions of tutorials available and good support for models ect

but in both cases the learning curve is steep

there is a program called particle illusion that has some basic stuff and its not bad try it

3DStudio Max and Lightwave are NOT meant to be used by noobs. Xara3D is easy, but it has its limitations.

lol asif bryce is easy, its a pain in the arse to get your head around , and works on mystic levels only good training will let you understand....

hello, i'm the one who made that image, and it's not just a walk in the park. you need experience in style and you need a 3d program, AND to know how to manipulate a simple render in photoshop using the crop and hue tools.

if you need more help just e-mail me at my site-

That pic falls nothing short of effin' amazing! As a web designer I can safely say the same about skill: any idiot with a "Dummies" book can learn and get the hot-shit tools, but it's skill that counts.
