Audio Plays Too Fast

I am running win 2k have updated all files from micro soft i have WMP 9 and audio on all player plays like the chipmunks BS player included

Do you have AC '97 audio on your mainboard?

thanks for the reply.I do have AC 97 and followed your link but still can't solve my problem...any more help would be appreciated.All windows updates are up to date and I have a few different codec packs.

Have you tried using Videolan?

having more than 1 codec pack could be half your problem, you should only run 1
