this is what shadows said

Welcome to the "rebranding" of my client. T-0.0.1 looks similar to S-5.8.11, but is actually pre-S6 and has some very important changes to the engine. You'll soon see a single downloader that handles multiple torrents over a single server port.

Other changes include: A new upload bandwidth limiter that is much smoother and less damaging to your connection, and support for the new features included in the official version 3.4.1a

does the speed depend on the peers or the seeds???

Most of the new updates from bittorrent clients these days calculate to be nothing much more than a numbers game.
And the developers know this, thats why they do it so often to keep us the interest.
All you guys are so interested and impressed by

"Look at me my version is newer than yours, that makes it better"

When in reality you become nothing but beta testers on a global scale ,while you gain nothing important but new links for you to donate monies to the developers.

Nothing wrong with donating in my books ,in fact I have for Azureus ..and you should too.
Im Just saying you should think twice before jumping ship to a new release ,
you will not obtain additional speed by doing so
Speed can only be obtained through good old fasion seeding :).

I am able to run my uploads a little faster on BitTornado than Shadow's older BT.
The bandwidth graph (NetStat Live) shows a much smoother upload bandwidth useage too.
For that reason alone, it is better than the original and means I can push uploads a little faster without such huge losses in download speeds.

see each bittorent program has problems.

ABC: sometimes slow
Azureus: eats alot of cpu and ram
Bitornado: very slow

im pretty sure ppl agree with me on this???

not really. it's fast on good torrents. my speeds didn't change on large torrents like dvd of far cry. i got 30-50kb/s on both clients. and i just dled a movie at 150kb/s using bittornado. so i'd stop talking shit bout it

I use storm.com/]TorrentStorm (http://www[torrent files are not allowed) . I lust switched fron shadows because of the 1 box used and just finished downloading and uploading over 1400 mb in less than 1 day from 1 seed and 21 peers.

Alot faster than e mule, klite, ect...

You can download more than 1 thing at a time but with this client . but only 1 window for a download. 2 windows for 2 download ect.
