Can anyone tell me a good program that will let me copy games e.g halo command and conquer etc. i tried all the nero versions but they didn't work

Alcohol 120% is the best. Very easy to use, reliable, percect copies every time. The retail full version 1.4.8.1222 is easily downloadable, and I have an extra key that I do not need. If you are interested in the key, you can PM me.

i have had no problems using cloneCD for copying games, though i have not tried alcohol i hear its good

Alcohol is great. Takes 3 mouse clicks. Anyone can do it. Even someone as dumb as me :huh: ;)

Alcohol 120% is easy, powerful, and comes with many features. It can make, burn, and mount images. And it comes with a very user friendly interface. :)

the alcohol app, what is the file type of the rip? does it do a bin and cue for ya?

Nope, .mdf and .mds. This is what my 1.4.8.1222 has been doing, maybe it can be set to other file types.

You can make .iso files with Alcohal

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I don't care, I delete the images after I burn them.

what about movies with alcohol? say a rental perhaps
would i need to use anyDVD for that because of the protection?
what do i save the file as if i copy a DVD? is there an option for DVD

For dvd's use DVDShrink. IMO the best dvd copying software out there. Dvds now are dvd-9 and those are well over 5 gigs. So you will need to shrink them. This tools has almost no loss in quality.

It saves the files in .vob format. Then if you have Nero or some other burning software, you can use DVDShrink to burn the disc.

alcohol 120% is the daddy
so so easy and u can save as ISO or BIN and CUE

its a must have
