Lost Xp Pro Disc.

Hi all.Newbie here so forgive my ignorance if you've answered this question before.
My xp professional disc has gone walkies (or been nicked).
I have been told it is possible to burn the necessary files already on my computer to a cd.Is this correct? If so could someone elaborate.

you can burn XP pro from a friend and use your own key.

if you dont know your key, you can use 'rockxp' to find out what your key was.
