hiya

i see all the latest movies are being encoded in xvid and ac3 dvm, and i have just downloaded lotr kings in the same format

i have read a few guides that go about extracting the audio and then converting that audio to mp2, and at last re encoding the xvid and the mp2 with tmpgenc

i was just wondering if anyone knew of a program that will just convert it all in one to vcd

as this format looks like the current way ppl are encoding to the net , maybe someone could do a tutorial on it and pin it so you wont get 50,000 of these question too lol

thanks in advance delphin

doesnt tmpgenc do that already? im pretty sure my matrix revolutions was ac3 xvid, and i converted that to svcd to play on my dvd player. it just takes a bit longer is all.i cant really remember it was a while back, but im pretty sure it does. otherwise get a dvd rip pack (ie virtualdub, dvd decrypter, avi extrator etc) and convert the audio that way

oh right, gotcha. i must have done it with giordian knot then. give that one a go if ur still struggling, and good luck with pure motion. can add whether you did get it working later, id be interested for future releases. it seems to the best way of encoding of late, certainly the best quality anyway
