I'm new at this ;)

I wanted to try Azureus but after i install it i can't get it to start.

Can some please help me :helpsmile:

Do you have the Java RunTime installed on your PC?

yup make sure u have it installed. azureus runs on java

yeah because of that it eats up alot of memory, make sure you dont have unnecassary things runing in the background.

Install the java what do i do now? I still can't get it to start?

What did you do exactly and what version of the Java JRE did you install?

1) 1st I download :frusty: Image Resized

2) Then i installed it :frusty:

3) Then i downloaded azureus :frusty: Image Resized

4) Then i installed it

5) Then after I install it i try out openning it to get it to start but it wont :frusty:

Well that's the wrong Java package. Uninstall that thoroughly.

1.Go to http://azureus.sourceforge.net
2. You'll see a box "What you need..." on the mainpage
3. The top link in that box says "Latest Java JRE". Click that.
4. You'll get a new window "Download Java Software" with a whole lot of different versions you can choose. Choose the one that's appropriate for you.
5. Try and fire up Azureus again.

It's as easy as reading the mainpage. Don't even need to look at the FAQ (where the question is answered too) :lol:
