Before i found about p2p ,i used to surf looking (mainly from http://www.disney.com) for games and had to negotionate a myriad of pop ups and voting ect, while i found signing up for porn to be the most irratating. and after that most of links turned out to be dead and if i found some that worked they tended to be distributed among yahoo groups which only alllowed a few downloads every 24 hour cycle.

i have a few working links left that i will list, but from my point of view warez is dead, most if not all the sites are designed to make money.

working links

www.disney.com (http://www.disney.com)

ok first off you should write ware* not the way you put it thats not allowed on this forum.

secondly with the amount of P2P programs out there and newsgroups i think that http ware* is virtually dead as like you say all you get is popups etc etc.
