Transfer Movies, Mp3 And Games Into The Ps2 ?

i ordered the FFXI on ps2, and you all know it come with a 40gb HDD, and i wonder if there is a way to put movies (.avi files), mp3 or extract the games into the drive. if yal know some about it pleas let me know, thankz alot...
