Best Program

Hey what's the best proggie for downloading single mp3 files? I've heard soulseek around a lot, but from what i know that is mostly for full albums? what's the best for just single mp3's?

BLUBSTER! The only advantage that soulseek has over blubster is that soulseek has a bit more rare files. But with blubster you get without any doubt amazing speeds. I mean like 400 Kb/s for a single popular song. Searches are very fast as well. And there are no fakes. Most MP3's are high bitrate.

Geash, nobody uses kazaa lite anymore. I use kazza lite for all my music downloads.

Wow, now I see why people don't use kazaa lite for music anymore. :blink: . I just downloaded 2 albums off of blubster and every song downloded at over 250kb/s. Ive never ever have done that on kazza lite. Out with the old in with the new. :P

I have to say soulseek for this one, I can still get my single mp3's and burn em without worry of a fake file, unlike k-lite

Yes I have been disappointed with KL's single MP3 searches lately.

There seems to be less and less songs on here. (good for movies and pics)

I will try Blubster as you all seem to recommend it.

I used to use WinMX, but as someone said there are long queues that need babysitting.

Is Beashare still going ? I used to use that.

What I would like to know is that if everyone seems to agree that KL has a poor selection of MP3's and many of them are fake/corrupt etc why is that ?

And why would anothe program have lots of non-corrupt files ?

Is it because the other program is less popular and not being hacked etc ?

Or are the users on it more responsible ?

I tried Blubster the other for the first time,

I saw only 250,000 users on line and I could not find were not as many songs for an artist as there are on Kazaa Lite !

Also I fail to see how it can be faster than KL as surely all programs are limited to the speed of your connection ie if you are on 56K as I am, then it is 4 kbps !

Also I fail to see why KL should have more fake files than any other program.

Surely if you download a crappy file then any "resposnsible" downloader should delete it straight away so that some other poor sod deos not get the file !

:) Yes Blubster is the best filesharing software out there for Single MP3's out there... I have only found 2 Corrupt Files out of 852 songs i have downloaded !
