i got cable, for the highest speed i ever got on mirc was lik 1/kbs is there a way to improve that?

the server you are donwloading from has slow speeds , if you conncect to a fast server you will get good speeds. i have broadband and my speed maxed out to 310KB/s.

i mean dsl is broadband but broadband is not dsl

Kinda , but Broadband uses your cable line to connect to the internet, and dsl uses your phone line. Over here in US broadband (comcast) is 2-3 times faster than Dsl
