what is the difference between seeding and sharing?

i use torrent storm and 2 files that are complete, one says sharing and another seeding.

Seeding is uploading the file to someone else... This is very importnt because only the seed has the complete file. the peers are incomplete parts of the file...

Always try to upload the file as much as you downloaded. 1 to 1 ratio. Ex. you download a 600 mb file and upload the same or greater amount...
