Nice. My specs are:
Athlon 2000+ (1.66 @ 1.925)
512 PC 2700 DDR
Sony DRU-510A Dual Format dvd burner
GeForce MX440 64 mb

My video card sucks and I can play Far Cry pretty clean. You should be able to play alot of new games with that video card. Its about 1000 times better then mine

is your card supported in SC:PT?

Nice specs Slug. If you really want to upgrade you could get more ram (maybe another 256) and when/if processor prices drop you might want to think about getting a better one, I have the same processor and am going to get a new one too soon :)

Not Supported: GeForce 4 MX, Laptop models of listed chipsets These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game.

Straight from Ubi's website. Says that it supports my card if I have the latest drivers, which I do.

*Supported Video Cards at Time of Release ATI® 8500/9000 families NVIDIA® GeForce™ 3/4/FX families

a GeForce 4 MX is not a GeForce 4. it's a GeForce 2 with the name changed. blame Nvidia for causing the confusion, i guess.

a geforce 2 mx can play far cry, ive seen it, so if a geforce 2 mx can play it, yes your geforce 4 mx WILL play far cry, just make sure your running on low detail settings and a lower resolution (800x600 is what the geforxe 2 mx ran it on).

Buy two sticks of the same RAM at the same time and your be good, you have to buy the same ones at the same time for then to 'duel channel' this means they work together as if they were on big stick. All you need is two sticks = 2GB. I only know one person on here who even has that much RAM. asicly buy that and its gonna be the mad shit for ages...... :)
