Joking aside folks. B) Dont you think it would be a good idea if Admin/Mods got together and took anti-spam off as a Xmas present to the members of this forum.

Xmas is only 8 months away. :rolleyes: At the rate that they are going this should fit right in with their schedule. :lol: :lol: :lol:

i guess busyman has a point, but the we mods have to go on "handwork" then again... ;) I guess it's better when decent members, don't have to suffer from some that try to abuse the forum.

So what you are saying is, that it is OK to lose good members who are getting caught with anti-spam rather than have people spamming the board.

I suggest you get your facts right. I think it was Shoutman who posted 25 posts in 18 minutes while anti-spam was in force. I dont know if he got caught or not.
I posted on average about 15 posts a day and I was getting caught sometimes as much as eight times in one post. where is the fairness in that.

Anywasy I thought flood control dealt with a lot of this type of thing. No other Forum that i know of has anti-spam. They seem to be coping.

I don't think so, if it was removed and someone used a spam script it is easy to notice and just as easy to stop.

Some people might try to cause trouble but they'd be a minor nuisance at best, I'd trade anti-spam for the threat of any "attacks" by disgruntled ex-members.

Why do they keep coming back to post tho', it does neither them nor the board any good.

I am not going to and need not mention these members names. They are the ones that jump to the defence of the 'board' no matter. In fact if one of them farts about a dozen of them have to wipe their arses.

I have to agree with JP on this one.

If didn't like it here I would go elsewhere. I have on occasion.

If I don't see topics that interest me I don't post in them. Some have a need to post....everywhere.

It seems anti-spam hits more people harder than others.
Those people probably post whore I mean post more too. :lol: :lol:

If anti-spam "hurts" you that much you should....well get some other interests besides taking a board so seriously.

If anti-spam hit me once on every single post it would annoy me but, in the end, I would copy and paste and move on.
