Why did I reach this page instead to see my posted message ?

I think what has happened here is whoever programmed the anti spam, programmed it to cover the whole board and not individual members. The result is that the board will only accept posts at 20 second intervals. If you repy quickly to a post then you are likely to get caught with the anti spam.

That is why it works even when the board is quiet. You get caught because you have replied within that 20 second limit. That is my theory as a programmer. I am sure I will be proven wrong by someone who thinks a program is the TV Times. :lol:

Flood control has nothing to do with it.

It doesn&#39;t work probably because the functions to generate the random keys that you sent along with your post are in such a place that they get accessed while previewing, while the functions that save the keys to the database aren&#39;t.

So you get new keys, which of course don&#39;t match the ones in the database, which triggers this shit.

God help IPS if they really plan to make this mod a standard feature.

Is there a way round that...but still keeping the anti-spam feature?

Just to elaborate on my last post...

If they made a mistake as big as including some crappy code like this piece of work they would be open minded and open to change it, it would take just a few minutes to straighten everything.
