I Need A Bouncer On The Door

i have 2 daughters one 5 and one 10 months and they are not too well at the moment (have a bug) and to make things worse my 10 month old is teething.
Around about 1am this morning the baby woke up and we decided to have her in our bed as all she really wanted was a cuddle as comfort and she went back to sleep. Then at about 4 she woke up screaming her little lungs out which in turn woke me up, this is when i discovered that the 5 year old had sneeked into bed with us as well and because she had cuddled close i had been sleeping on my side and my arm had gone to sleep, so in trying to get up i had to negotiate a bit of an obstacle course and try to get my arm working again so i was no longer doing an impression of my 16 year old son. i eventually got the circulation back and picked up my baby who pretty much went straight back to sleep. I returned her to bed and picked up my 5 year old and carried her back to her room, where she informed me she needed to go peepee. we went to the toilet and back to her bed where she told me she was scared...i asked what she was scared of and she said "heights"...after explaining that she should stay on the ground and tucking her back in she asked for a drink, so i went to the kitchen and got her sippy cup of water. when i returned to her room she wasn't there, she had sneeked back to our room :frusty: so i told her that she had to go back to her bed..."carry me" she said "why?"..."because the batteries have gone flat in my legs" :frusty:
So eventually i got her back to her own bed and asleep...it was almost 5 am by now and my eyes had severe bags under them.
i got back to our room where in the glow of the nightlight my baby and my wife were sleeping peacefully ( my wife looking perfect like in the movies and not having stirred though any of this).... i got back into bed and closed my eyes....this is the point where my wife decided to open her eyes and .........ASKED ME TO GET HER A GLASS OF WATER :helpsmile:


Now all this has a point to it....... am i a bad person for suspecting that my wife was just pretending to be asleep?????????

it was a case of making sure we could provide a secure future for them before we went too mad. :lol:
