I've only tried one and thats Shareaza (http://www.shareaza.com). It's totally clean, and works well enough for me. You can also download from EDonkey2000 and Bittorrent.. ;)

in the configuration window, in the Gnutella section of networks, make sure you have the boxes ticked for gnutella1.

It took a while for mine to connect to G1 the first time I tried it...

Bearshare is the most powerfull , advanced Gnutella client but has spyware problems , you must have to pay for a clean '' pro '' version , or to browse a lot of warez sites hunting for a crack.

Bearshare is also a staunch opponent of Gnutella2 (in fact even refusing to call it such), and so presumably don't support it. :blink:
