Anyway he prefers not to know names, makes it too personal.
Address and description is enough. Hopefully no-one gets in the way.
But if they do, heyho shit happens. Decent knives dont go blunt that easy, particularly with a proper serated edge.
Apparently a serated edge makes a nice ragged cut, rather than a smooth slit. It works whether used to stab or slice actually, particularly when twisted.
Have you ever wondered what the "valley" down the blade is, thats so that the knife doesn't seal the wound itself. It lets the blood flow out, like a gutter.
So serated edge, plunge in, but not too deep (or it gets stuck). Quick twist to damage internal organs and make wound wider. Back out and away. That's if you want the slow painful effect.
Alternatively there is the cut throat, making sure to get the jugular. Ironically most people drown on their on blood rather than die from the blood loss. It's a funny old world.
