A friend of mine - graphic designer -
was asked to make the cover of a phone book
so
he put his Name and Number on the Cover

he had to argue about it but it got thru for one year.

;) I took a Job delivering telephone books a few Years back.I needed extra Money(like always :rolleyes: ) and never tryed it before.Seen the ad in the Paper and said "what the hell".

The Job was for $100 Cash and they said it would only take one day.So I signed up for just my Neighborhood.

I went to the factory to pick up the Phone Books on a Friday.Loaded the whole back seat down and the Trunk.I mean lowered it!The tires were rubbing! :o

It took me 2 Days to get that all done.Come Saturday I go back and find out I still have more Books to deliver.They load the Car up all the way to the ground again!I had to deliver these Books all threw the night Saturday.Tell about 5 in the morning.

Got up Sunday and did not stop tell around 11 that Night.The deadline was Monday or no Pay.


Needless to say.If anybody on this Forum ever ask about doing this Job I will tell them.It is not worth it.It is a fucking Joke.Unless they have a Vehicle that can Pick up the whole load at once.....maybe. :rolleyes:

So think about that when you are useing your Books.Think about how them Books get there.

I have been lucky in this Life I guess.I have done some shitty ass Jobs.But with out that service we would not have what we use everyday.

And it makes me appreciate it more.
