some of you may have seen the topic of me being caught using emule, so for now im not gonna open it up again just yet. As for bit torrent, have heard that suprnova is relatively unsafe to use .. so can anyone point decent torrent sites please?

(yes ive read the pinned threads and checked out sites like link2u but I'd prefere personal recommendations and most I come across are crap :()

Try Isohunt (http://isohunt.com/) for general searches or Phoenix (http://www.phoenix-torrents.com/) for good links and info on quality.

I like them both but still prefer Suprnova for the shear weight of numbers. I have had no bother using them but that is a UK perspective and may just be because my ISP has a download limit (150 gigs per month!!! Thats nearly 60kbps of 24/7 downloading!!). I guess if I stay inside the limit my ISP is cool until Microsoft or some such leans on them.

I like Isohunt as well. I guess what site you use is kinda like what client you use. You try them and decide which one works best for you. It also depends on what sort of things you are looking for.

ps.s What do you mean by Suprnova being unsafe to use?
