i have a screen name in my buddy list that when the person goes online it doesn't notify me.al the other names go on the online status when they sign on but this particular screen name doesn't. how come?

that doesn't matter.

there are 2 possibiliies. either you've been blocked (inadvertently or deliberately) or the person is never ever online at the same time you are.

take your pick :)
