Ruud Bound For Real?

I read about 6 Sunday newspapers yesterday while on a long, hungover, bus trip home.

All said Rooney was on his way to Man Utd but one (Sport People) said Ruud was going to Real Madrid to free up funds for the Rooney deal, I think it might be true as the Man Utd main bloke - David Gill - had said some weeks back that Man Utd weren't going to be spending any money this summer.

Anyone hear anything? not quite sure what to think, yeah I'd love to sign Rooney but I dont want to lose Ruud! :angry: -- btw yeah I'm a Man U fan, make a different thread if you wanna flame me :P

Even the Dutch Manager just said (last pressconference) that RvN wasn't moving to Real, and also Ruud said himself. Just extended his deal at ManU so why move to Fc Hollywood 2 (of course Bayern Munich is Fc Hollywood 1).

who cares what the national coach says! I was wondering if any dutch, spanish or other publications had news of this possible transfer.
